I hear you calling,
Everywhere me and you,
My reason for living
You, you are the wind beneath my wings
The music in me..."

Multi chemati, putini alesi...

Vorba aceea: Multi chemati, putini alesi...

"Music is part of who I am..." Speaking about my musical preferences, I mainly like listening to 'good/real' music, i.e. something that is not all about rhythm and noise, but more like a balance between message, rhythm and musical composition, if you understand what I mean... I like especially rock and pop-rock music, blues, R&B, country, country-rock, symphonic-rock, but I also like to listen to some reggae music from time to time...So, as you can see, for me it is not the music genre itself that counts, but the emotions transmitted through that particular music... Some artists/music bands I like: Phil Collins, LeAnn Rimes, Celine Dion, Michael Bolton, Elton John, Laura Pausini, NEK, Savage Garden, The Corrs, Enya, U2, Roxette, Nightwish (my favourite symphonic rock band), oh, there are many...Joe Cocker, Alannah Myles, some Romanian bands like Spin, Holograf, Compact, there is not enough space to name them all... Music has become a very important part of my life ever since I was a little girl. I used to listen to vinyl records all the time (both Romanian and worldwide music) and I just couldn't go to bed if I hadn't sung something before. I was almost 11 years old when I started taking singing lessons in light music at "Palatul Copiilor" in Baia Mare having Adriana Diaconu as a teacher (vocal coach). During that period (which lasted for about 8 years) I sang a lot and went to several national musical contests. In 2001 I worked in partnership with the Dramatic Theatre of Baia Mare. In October 2002 I had a live appearance at "Ploaia de Stele", a contest that was a very good experience for me, as I was in a TV live set performance for the first time. Since 2005 I have started a canto classical singing course at the Popular School of Arts from Baia Mare. Nowadays I am singing all the time, too. I think that a true artist is always trying to improve his/her musical technique. Yet, right compositions made for the right vocalist are also of great importance. Me? Still looking for a style of my own...that musical genre that would be perfect for me and my vocal structure.
