"The light fantastic" started out when Matt started covering the singer of "Verde'n fata" and, after playing for a while, Yogi, Ionut and Georgian decided to break away from that band to start a new project with Matt.
After finding Silviu, our original bass player, we started working on songs that Matt had written, and our first single was "For All Those That Matter", a kind of power ballad with few poppy undertones. The song is all about relationships and going from one to another, looking for love and being happy with yourself and your life and accepting life as it is.
After that came the melodic "Yesterdays Gone" which is all about the previous summer. Next we made "Tomorrow's Another Day" which is a typical pop-rock song, all about the break up of a relationship and life after it.
Next came "The Afternoon Session" which is a powerful piece all about passion and sex - (always a fun topic to write about).
After the summer of 2006 Silviu was forced to leave the band due to bad health - (and will always be missed)- but was replaced by his guitar playing friend, Nutzu who fitted in so well with the band with his attitude and playing style that we didn't even consider anyone else.
Now after a year of contstant playing live, we are planning to spend some more time in the studio, writing and recording more songs to finish our 1st album which is also called "For All Those That Matter".
